Beacause people are way to hell-bent on what a photo should be.
"It isn't about "how good" a photo is, it's about what's in the picture and what it means to someone."
Nikki Sixx once said, it's not about whether you snap a shot on a $10,000 top of the rande camera, a cheap digital camera, disposable, phone, or the camera on your ipod, it's about the meaning of that shot. His book, 'This is gonna hurt, music, photography and life through the distorted lens of Nikki sixx Is awe inspiring and shows the true spirit of photography.
I'M SICK OF STUCK UP PHOTOGRAPHY GROUPS THAT WON'T ACCEPT ANY STANDARD OF PHOTOGRAPHS OTHER THAN ELITE, THAT IS NOT THE SPIRIT OF PHOTOGRAPHY. I would understand a couple of elite photography groups, but all photography groups are picky, And most art groups accept all levels of art. Who the fuck has given someone the right to discriminate against photography?!?!
